La Causerie – February 27, 2024
On February 27, 2024, La Causerie was held at The French Brasserie Rustique in Olde Naples, at which twenty (20) members and guests enjoyed a 2-course luncheon, followed by presentations of“L’Hôtel de Cavailhez” in Carcassonne, France, by Beth Hall; and “Pierre Deux” Stores by Dolores Trapani. We welcomed new members Jennifer Figurelli, Joe & Sharon Marvin, Christopher Pelou, and Jon DeMoss.
Assemblée Générale – April 13, 2024
The Assemblée Générale/Annual Business Meeting was held at The Village Spot in North Naples on Saturday, April 13, 2024, preceded by a delicious 3-course lunch. Denyse Jenkins was re-elected President. Beth Hall was elected to the Board of Directors.
Déjeuner – April 21, 2024
On April 21, 2024, we gathered at Salon de Thé Sweet Couple in North Naples. The lunch was delicious, and the dessert was delightful. The hostess is also the owner of the restaurant next door, Tartine & Tartelette. We welcomed Jennie & Didier Ienzer and Monique Zombeck as our newest members.
End-of-Season Picnic/Dinner – May 11, 2024
On Saturday, May 11, 2024, fifteen (15) members dined in the beautiful Pelican Bay Beach setting at Marker 36 Restaurant, for our End-of-Season Picnic. Many thanks to Kevin McDermott for hosting this annual event.
La Table Française – May 28, 2024
On May 28, 2024, ten (10) members and guests enjoyed the delicious cuisine of Chef Anthony and ambiance of Hostess Sandie and her serving team at Café Normandie at La Table Française, at which we shared lively conversation in French.
Bastille Day Dinner Celebration – July 13, 2024
On the evening of July 14, 2024, 12 members celebrated “la Fête Nationale” (Bastille Day/French Independence Day) in the Private Dining Room of the renowned Le Colonial Restaurant in Olde Naples, with endlessly copious servings of delicious French and Vietnamese dishes served family style (three appetizers, six entrées, and three desserts).

On August 17, 2024, ten (10) members and guests enjoyed the delicious cuisine of Chef Sebastian and gracious service of Hostess Valerie at Bistro La Baguette at La Table Française, at which we shared lively conversation in French.

We welcomed back several members from their summer travels, and enjoyed the authentic cuisine of Vietnam at Pho 80 Restaurant in Naples.

On October 19, 2024, fourteen (14) members and guests enjoyed the delicious cuisine of Chef Guy at Chez Guy Parisian Bistro at La Table Française, at which we shared lively conversation in French.
30th Anniversary Celebration – December 14, 2024
32 members and guests celebrated the 30th Anniversary of Alliance Française de Naples in the elegantly decorated Crayton Room of Bleu Provence French Restaurant in Olde Naples, where we were treated to a delicious 3-course meal exclusively offered by Chef Lysielle. It was a memorable evening of reminiscence and “bonheur”.
