La Causerie – January 25, 2022
Our first event of the year La Causerie, held at Ridgway Bar & Grill in Olde Naples. 26 members and guests enjoyed a 2-course luncheon, followed by a presentation of “Le Français dans le Monde” by two speakers, who focused on the special relationship of Luxembourg and Lebanon with France.
Fête Masqué du Mardi Gras – February 18, 2022
On February 18, 2022, 38 members and guests celebrated Mardi Gras 2022 at Brio Italian Grill at Waterside Shops in North Naples, which served a delicious 3-course dinner. Music and dancing was provided by DJ Mal. The theme of the celebration was “Masquerade” from “The Phantom of the Opera”, with a lively costume contest that concluded the evening … winners were Best Couple (Françoise & guest), Most Original (Dan), and Most Beautiful (Miken).
Déjeuner et Défilé de Mode (Fashion Show & Fund Raiser) at AQUA on Fifth in Olde Naples with fashions by Petunia’s on Fifth – March 18, 2022
Our 29th annual Déjeuner et Défilé de Mode (Luncheon & Fashion Show/Fund Raiser) was held at AQUA on Fifth in Olde Naples. Fashions by Petunia’s on Fifth Avenue S in Olde Naples were modeled by our charming members.
Assemblée Générale/Annual Business Meeting – April 23, 2022
The Assemblée Générale/Annual Business Meeting was held at Chez Guy Parisian Bistro in North Naples on Saturday, April 23, 2022, preceded by a delicious 2-course lunch. Denyse Jenkins was re-elected President. Kevin McDermott and Martine Gedeon were elected to the Board of Directors. Monique Sajous was Master-of-Ceremonies.
Wine Tasting – May 12, 2022
On May 12, 2022, Jacques Cariot, Master Sommelier and owner of Bleu Provence, hosted nine members to savor five (5) wines from the Provence region of France, accompanied by several plates of delicious “amuse-guele”.
“la Fête Nationale” (Bastille Day Celebration) – July 9, 2022
On the evening of July 9, 2022, 15 members and guests celebrated “la Fête Nationale” (Bastille Day/French Independence Day) at Chez Boët in Olde Naples, with a delicious 3-course French meal especially prepared for Alliance Française de Naples.
La Table Française (French Speaking Table) – July 26, 2022
We welcomed new member Jeff Hayes, who graciously hosted us at Sandbar Restaurant, Pelican Bay Beach in North Naples. Seven (7) members attended La Table Française, our French Speaking Table & Luncheon, on July 26, 2022.

Seven (7) members welcomed new members Artist Janine Melillio, who showed her French café graph art, and Frank Wyman. We all enjoyed the delicious French dishes from Chef Anthony of Café Normandie, at our La Table Française (our French Speaking Table & Luncheon), on August 23, 2022.
Beaujolais Nouveau Dégustation – 20 novembre 2022
The wine choices were excellent. The French tastings were copious and delicious. On November 20, 2022, thirty (30) members and guests thoroughly enjoyed bidding on the beautiful gifts on the Raffle Table at our annual Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Tasting & Fund Raiser, which was held in the Parish Hall of St. William Catholic Church in North Naples. Dîner de Noël (Christmas Dinner) – December 16, 2022
Twenty-seven (27) members and guests celebrated our annual Dîner de Noël at Chez Guy Parisian Bistro in North Naples, where we savored a delicious three-course meal especially prepared by Chef Guy. After dinner we had the traditional holiday gift exchange.
